SEGA 32X MODIFICATION

I now offer a new modification service for owners of Sega 32X consoles. Contrary to popular belief, the 32X is not region free, and the display setting of the 32X needs to be set correctly along with the Megadrive to correctly play games from other regions.

There is just one 50Hz/60Hz switch to add. I provide a full 3 month warranty on any console I modify and all work I do is carried out to the highest standards.

Sega 32x Modification - Add 50Hz/60Hz Switch - £15 UK plus return postage

Just like on the Sega Megadrive, I can add a switch to your Sega 32X console which toggles between a 50hz and 60hz output. When used with the modified Sega Megadrive this will allow you to play all imported Sega 32X cartridges in their native resolution. Your Sega Megadrive *must* have a 50Hz/60Hz Switch and Language Switch fitted or one of our Switchless mods - the Sega 32X modification will not work on it's own!

Please note, if you are sending your console in for modification and you want to run it in 60Hz mode, as well as having a TV that accepts a 60Hz NTSC signal it is essential that you have a Scart cable, otherwise you will only get a black and white picture.

If you are unsure please check with your TV manufacturers manual before having this modification done - Console Passion will not provide any refunds for persons who cannot run a 60hz NTSC display.
