Here you'll find most of the answers to the most common questions regarding ordering, returns and other general enquiries.

For any questions not answered here, or if you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions.

Almost all the games we stock are second hand, but unless specified come with their original boxes and instructions. We do have a few brand new games - if any games are sealed they will say so in the description.

Browse through our buy and sell section, and when you see something you want simply click the 'Add to Cart' button. This will add your item to a virtual shopping cart. When you are done browsing, you can view your shopping basket and if necessary change any items. Once you have everything you want, you proceed to the checkout and fill in the form with all your details. If you have signed up for a free account your details will automatically be added at this point. Choose whether you want to make an online payment through Debit or Credit card or an offline payment by post and click the appropriate button to complete your order.

If you choose pay online on checkout, you will be taken away to a secure 128 bit encrypted payment server to make an instant online payment. If you choose pay by post, you can pay by cheque, postal order or cash (please send recorded delivery). Personal cheques and postal orders should be made out to 'Andy Brown'. Details of where to send payment will be given with your order confirmation email.

Postage will vary from item to item and is calculated automatically by the checkout system, but as a rough guide for UK buyers, consoles and other heavy bulky items will be £10.00 and games will be £2.50. International postage will be more.

This will depend on the payment method, and what items you have ordered. If you order a single game and send payment by cash, postal order or online payment the game will be posted on either the same day the payment arrives or the next working day. Items paid for by cheque will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared. While it is normally wise to choose parcel post for consoles and other bulky items, this postage option can take up to fourteen working days to be delivered, but usually it only take a few days. Parcel delivery can be upgraded to next day delivery (Special Delivery), but at the expense of the customer. Modified consoles are done to order and will take a few days extra before they are posted. We will mail you once your modded console is dispatched.

No, but obviously payment methods and postage charges will be different. I currently accept the following international payments: Western Union, an International Money Order in Sterling, IBAN Bank Transfer or cash in US Dollars and Euros. Please contact me beforehand for the exchange rate, but as a rough guide £1.00 is $1.50, and £1.00 is €1.15. Package and postage will again depend on your country and the weight of the goods. Please note that some countries charge import tax and other sundry fees. Console Passion are not responsible for paying any of these - please contact your own countries postal service for further information on receiving goods from overseas.

Yes, but remember many PAL games may not work on US consoles without the appropriate converters and we don't give refund for games bought in error. When buying items not intended for your own country, on checkout you will be asked to confirm you are aware that these may not work on your own console.

All items sold by Console Passion are tested thoroughly before being dispatched, but in the unlikely event of something arriving faulty, the item may be returned for a replacement.

All items sold by Console Passion come with a 28 day warranty. After this time we will try to provide assistance with any problems where possible.

All items are described as accurately as possible on the website. If you have any enquiries you should make them beforehand. If you have bought items that are not compatible with your own console, we will exchange them for items of equal value of your choice, but we do not provide refunds for items bought in error. We do not provide any returns or refund for custom modified consoles - this is due to the amount of work that is carried out on modifying consoles. Please ensure that any custom modified consoles are compatible with your TV - especially those requiring a 60Hz or NTSC compatible TV.

We try to keep our prices as low as possible, and I genuinely think we are one of the cheapest retro gaming shops on the Internet. However I cannot guarantee that everything we sell will be the cheapest price. Please remember my website is different because unless stated, all the games I sell are in very good condition, boxed with all instructions, maps & original packaging. You may find an item cheaper, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find any items in as good condition cheaper!

The wishlist is a new feature on the website and has two purposes. Firstly, it allows you to keep track of items you intend to purchase in the future so you don't have to keep searching for them. Secondly it allows you to register your interest in an out of stock item. If an out of stock item is in your wishlist and comes back in stock, our stock control system will automatically send you one email informing you it is back in stock. All you need to do to purchase this item is browse your wish list, add the item to your basket and check out as normal.

I get new stock in all the time, and while I try to put everything on the website as soon as possible, sometimes I haven't had chance to update it yet. The best thing is to ask - if I do not have it in stock, chances are I can get hold of it for you anyway through our extensive worldwide contacts.

Some imported games will play on European consoles without the need for any converter, some will require import adapters and others will require console modification. If in doubt it is best to ask - we don't give refunds for games bought in error!

Yes, but there may be some limitations. Firstly, there may be voltage differences between the import console and your home country. You may need an alternative power supply or a stepdown converter. If you are a European / Australian customer and buying a UK console, the plug type will be different and you will need to replace it with a plug type from your own country. Secondly, check that your TV will accept the display type. In the UK and Europe we use PAL, in North America & Japan NTSC is the output type. Please check your TV will play the appropriate signal. We do not provide refunds for items bought in error.
